2016 is the Year of the English Garden

in celebration of 300th anniversary of Capability Brown. The Eden project leading the way along with lots of “open Garden” charity events all across Cornwall throughout June. Rick Stein will also be making an appearance, demonstrating some of his world-class cooking skills and judging the food competitions. Aussies discover Moor2Sea in Cornwall

Australians on holiday find Moor2Sea Cornwall a delight to the senses!

From the hedgerows full of flowers, to the picturesque sea-side towns, mouthwatering seafood and beautiful country bike rides. They enjoyed a number of local restaurants, such as Trawlers (Looe) and Jolly Jacks (Plymouth), coastal path walks and local open water fishing trips. Looe Food Festival

Looe Food Festival will be taking place on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June,

with over 40 stalls selling products and produce from all over Cornwall, and guest chefs holding demonstrations throughout the two days using ingredients available from the exhibitors.This charming, pretty, relaxing town, with its busy harbour, golden crescent beach, and flower covered cottages is quickly becoming the place to visit in south east Cornwall.

Exhibitors: Rodda’s Cremery, Cornish Cheese Company, The Surfing Bakers, Nippers Shellfish, The Oyster Shack & Bad Boy Chilli.

Chefs: Dom Sadler, James Strawbridge, Jonno Hancock & Ben Palmer.

Royal Cornwall Show

The annual Royal Cornwall Show

is upon us, and with live music, local food produce, wonderful flower displays, a fun fair and more, there’s something to entertain all members of the family. The main ring offers entertainment throughout the day, with headline acts including the RAF falcons, police dog displays, show jumping, and a fast&furious inter-hunt relay.

With around 130,000 people attending over the 3 days, and dating back to 1793, it’s one of Cornwall’s most significant agricultural events of the year. For more information on attending and directions click here.

Eden Project Sessions are back for 2015

and better than ever, with world-class artists performing such as Elton John, Ben Howard, Paolo Nutini & Paloma Faith. This spectacular line up of festivals are held in a venue like no other, a vibrant garden, brimming with flowers, plants and sculptures, with the acoustics perfectly amplified by the unique bowl shape surroundings of the Eden Project.
