We sit close to the Rivers of the Tamar and the Tiddy, and there are a number of local Fishing Lakes very close by, as well as there being ample opportunities for Sea Fishing on the Cornish Coast, ensuring the ideal Fishing holiday for all types of Anglers. For surfers and beach lovers the local coastline along Whitsand bay is within reach in 20 minutes.
For history lovers, and those who enjoy and appreciate some of the countries finest formal and informal gardens, the Houses of Cothele, Mount Edgcumbe and Lanhydrock are easily accessible, and are steeped in the true history and Heritage of Cornwall. The world renowned Lost Gardens of Heligan dating back to the 1200’s providing a historical and horticultural picture of life in Cornwall over many hundreds of years.
Cornwall and Devon have an ever growing list of annual festivals, catering for all music, food and art enthusiasts.
